Crestwood Flag

SCHS Vice President, Jacqueline Stock, met Mickey Shana Ulmer, at Crestwood City Hall on March 4, 2010, for Mickey to present an 8x10 color photo of the 1970’s era Crestwood flag to Tina Flowers, Crestwood City Hall clerk. The flag was flown at city hall for a short time in the 1970’s and then went out of use and was lost. Crestwood City Hall contacted Jacque Stock recently regarding the history of the flag. Jacque arranged for Mickey Shana Ulmer, daughter of Wm Shana, the designer of the flag, to meet with city officials about the flag. Mickey came to city hall accompanied by her husband, Don Ulmer, a former city engineer. Police Chief, M. Pailou, joined the gathering. Mr. Shana had been presented with a proclamation in the past.
