Who’s Who

Who is who in Show-Me Hero Salute?

Show-Me Hero Salute is a group of organizations, institutions, businesses, and citizens in St. Louis, Missouri and surrounding areas spearheaded by the Sunset Hills Historical Society to bring the AVTT Traveling Wall, a scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., provided by American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) fromTexas, to St. Louis in June 2013 from the 12th to the 16th, 2013. See Mission Statement to learn more about Show-Me Hero Salute.

It is the intent of the Show-Me Hero Salute organization to recognize the contributions of the many individuals and groups who are working so hard to bring the AVTT Traveling Wall to St. Louis. The Chair of the Publicity Committee, Don Corrigan, of the South County Times hopes to recognize all contributors to the event in the pages of his newspaper, and hopefully to tell some of the story of that involvement. Their involvement will also be recognized in the Daily Program Guide handed out to those attending the programs held each day of the display, June 12-16. The web masters, Frank Hardy and Stephen Hanpeter, hope to recognize all contributors in the pages of this web site in the same way.

Show-Me Hero Salute Chairman – Morris (Butch) Thomas – President of Sunset Hills Historical Society.
