“Courageous and Faithful – The U.S. Cavalry at Jefferson Barracks”

Presented by Dan Gonzalez, Curator at Jefferson Barracks Historic site.
Jefferson Barracks has a deep and rich story to tell. It is the birthplace of the American cavalry, the site where the earliest Buffalo Soldiers were enlisted, and the recruits who passed through the old post made possible the settlement of the western half of the United States. Explore these contributions and more through the presentation “Courageous and Faithful – The U.S. Cavalry at Jefferson Barracks.” by Jefferson Barracks Curator Daniel Gonzales.
Lindbergh High School in old board room – Please note that this is a venue change from the usual meeting place. See a map showing the way to the PS North and South rooms in the administrative offices. Refer to the second map at the bottom of the page.
