Drawing donations for second Harster painting

In the Spring 2013 SCHS Newsletter it was announced that Dave Harster from Harster Heating & Air Conditioning Company donated to the Sappington-Concord Historical Society paintings by his late father Emil Ferdinand Harster. See more about the artist at Harster Biography. At the April and July 2013 general membership meetings for every $5 donation (earmarked painting) made to the Society, the donor’s name was entered into a drawing to win the landscape painting pictured in the Spring 2013 Newsletter. At the close of the July 24 general meeting the lucky winner went home with the beautiful framed oil painting.

At the April 23, 2014, general membership meeting the second framed landscape painting will be available for viewing. Again, for each $5 donation made to the Society (earmarked painting) your name will be put into a drawing to win the painting at the close of the July 23 general membership meeting. Donations will be accepted at the April and July meetings. All proceeds will be for the benefit of the Society. You need not be present to win. However, the painting cannot be mailed; arrangements would have to be made to pick it up at a later date.
