Kids in grades K-8, get ready to visit the dig. Watch the archaeologists and high school students. Visit the archaeology activities area.

Adults are welcome to watch the dig, and talk to the archaeologists and students.

Announcing an Open House for students and parents to learn about the dig and to register, April 18, 6:30-7:30 pm

Dig Open House
An information night for students and parents to learn about the High School Student Archaeological Dig Program, Thursday, April 18, 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
The Open House will be on the Sappington House campus, in the Library of Americana, the building behind Sappington House as shown in photo below.
1015 South Sappington Rd, St Louis, MO 63126
Park at The Barn restaurant. Enter the campus commons to the left of the campus map sign. The Library of Americana is down the slope and to the right.

Registering for the Dig program
Registration for the Dig is open now, or students can register at the Open House on Thursday, April 18. To get the registration form now, go to page Flier, brochure and registration form

Please note that the number of students in the program is limited and that student spots are awarded on a first-come basis
