Visit with other SCHS members and friends, to see the Griot Museum of Black History and Culture. It is pronounced (Gree -o)

Date and time: Saturday, November 7, 2015

Meeting time if you drive yourself to the museum is 10:00 am. We will meet at the door of the Griot at 10:00 am.

Meeting time if meeting friends at St Lucas UCC (11735 Denny Road, St. Louis, Missouri, 63126.) to drive with is 9:00 am, departure at 9:15 am.

Please park at the far end of the east parking lot away from the other cars so we can see who is there.

Driving directions from Google Maps:
Route via I-44 east, 24 minutes (16.9miles)

Starting from St. Lucas: 11735 Denny Rd, St Louis, MO 63126, take Denny Road to S Lindbergh Blvd to I-44 east bound.

Follow I-44 east to S Jefferson Ave in St. Louis. Take exit 289 from I-44 east. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto S Jefferson Ave from I-44. Take Jefferson north. At fork with Parnell St. take the fork to the right, Parnell St. Turn right onto St Louis Ave. Destination will be on the left. We will meet at the Griot Museum door at 10:00 am.

Parking: The on-street parking is free and plentiful.

Museum entrance fee: $7.50 for adults
paid at the door.
